Stress Less

A physical or psychological disruption in our lives that threatens, prods, frightens, worries, tenses, thrills, or keys up our bodies. We are all under stress every day. Stressors are the external demands of life as well as the internal attitudes and thoughts that require us to adapt. Although stress is natural it is not healthy when it is overwhelming or debilitating. There are successful strategies for stress avoidance and reduction. The challenge is to develop a plan for minimizing and reducing excessive levels of stress before more serious forms of professional intervention become necessary. This proactive and interactive workshop provides helpful suggestions and practices but it should not be viewed as an alternative to professional support or consultation in cases of extreme stress or illness.
