Organizational effectiveness is measured in terms of what we produce and how we maintain the capacity to produce. We sometimes concentrate so heavily on accomplishment that leaders and contributors "burn out." When this happens we lose production capacity and ultimately production. Effective leaders enlist the support and assistance of those who must live with the results. They encourage collaboration, build teams, and empower others to do good work.
